Lefty's, this is a simple way to make your world easier to deal with
Unless you're a lefty you have no idea of the struggles. In elementary school I used the left handed scissors purchased in 1916. Dull, worn,...useless. A right handed pair doesn't work in the left hand and feels awkward in the right hand. I got a pair of Fiskars left handed scissors for Xmas. After 50 years I finally was able to cut effortlessly. My brother did work on 2 guitars for me. As a thank you I got some lefty stuff for him. Like myself, he loved these scissors and was also amazed at how well scissors now work for him. Two of us have them, and both of us are satisfied customers. And the price on these was comparable to right handed models. Many left handed items are marked up much higher than right handed, but Fiskars DID NOT price gouge. Would buy from this vender and Fiskars again.

Love these! Why didn't I do it earlier in life??
LOVE THESE!! I had no idea what I was missing trying to use right handed, or ambidextrous scissors. If you're left handed, just do it! You'll wish you did it sooner.

Buy these for any lefties you know... ESPECIALLY youngsters!
Where have these been all my life??!! I purchased these for myself - on my 70th birthday. I could kick myself for the pain I've suggested all these years. Trust me lefties - ambidextrous scissors hurt LESS, but they still HURT! Get these, but Mark then clearly... leave them wherever you usually leave household scissors. The others will learn - perhaps might even understand what you've gone through in a right-handers world.Buy these for any lefties you know... ESPECIALLY youngsters. They shouldn't need to grow up suffering from using right handed or ambidextrous scissors. Ambi scissors are nothing more than right handed scissors with no additional finger support - the blades are still reversed and make straight, even cuts difficult.

Got this for my patient who is left-handed for the most part. He has always had trouble finding left, handed utensils and tools, so this was a wonderful find.

Finally, a true left-handed scissors
I had an earlier set of Fiskers so-called Left-handed scissors. In reality the old pair were a right-handed scissor mechanism with left-handed handles. That is, when holding the scissors to cut, the upper blade was on the right hand side, blocking my view of where I am cutting. In order to see my cut line I had to put the scissors on the right hand side of my body, holding it awkwardly with my left hand. Thanks, Fiskars! You made a pair of scissors a righty can't hold, and a lefty can't cut with. This current model, on the other hand, actually reverses the blades so the upper blade is on the left hand side and now I can hold and cut on the left side of my body and see where the cut line is. This is so much more comfortable and natural to use!If you've got an older pair of lefty scissors make sure the upper blade is on the left side. If it's not, order one of these scissors now -- you won't regret it!
