Q: can these be used for snow shoeing will carbon fiber be ok in cold temps?

I used to race cross skiing and almost all our poles were carbon fiber. Cold doesn’t affect their strength.

Q: how durable is the cork, and are the grips replaceable?

Each grip is 11 inches long, total, in a continuous piece with two distinct sections: 5 3/4 inches of substantial, non-compressible, contoured molded cork with integrated end cap and wrist strap, and 5 inches of softer slightly-compressible foam with molded end to keep hand from slipping further down the shaft. This provides two hand positions of different contour and feel for a welcome bit of variety on longer hikes. The entire 10 1/2 inches of grip is one continuous piece and is slipped completely over the carbon fiber shaft (no screws, bolts, rivets, or fasteners). it would be replaced as one piece from the manufacturer, or any other after-market grips which fit this standard diameter shaft. (I have also extended the useful life of grips using commonly-available grip tape made for tennis racket handles.) These Fit Life poles are very well made and I am satisfied with their performance on several demanding wilderness trips.

Q: Has anyone used these for hiking 14ers?

I use them because I have bad legs. But I dont see way you cant hik with them.
