ive seen some of these are good for 20 amps. How does that work on a 200 amp panel?

These are "transformer coupled" so the current carrying conductor must pass through the hole in the transformer. With 200A service you will typically find that #4/0 aluminum cable has been used, which has a typical diameter of 0.629". So, in addition to the current rating you also need to look at the physical diameter of the hole in the transformer core and determine if it's large enough to pass the cable through.

Also, most residential service is 2-phase, which means you would need to measure each phase independently.

200A would be the maximum allowable on either phase, but actual usage might or might not be significantly less.

What are the panel cutout dimensions?  seller only provides the bezel dimension for the width as 79mm.  i need to know the cutout dimensions.

On the 100 pro+ model, what is the tiny white jst connector for? there's no manual

The single two pin connector is just temp thermistor.  RS488 has additional two pin connector on end in addition to temp thermistor two pin connect on side.

I bought the more expensive Pro+ expecting to get the 488 interface, but does not have 488 interface, only temp sensor.

Would this work on a 2 pole circuit? Or would you need a unit for each hot lead?

Can anyone clarify the wiring on this? I purchased for this use case. Drok says "this meter wont work for my application" this post and other reviews are saying otherwise. Maybe the review photos are a trick because it shows 240 input voltage but only measuring wattage from one pole.

I tried putting the red & black L1 / L2 though the CT and then powering the meter using the same leads. It shows 240v input voltage, but the wattage doesn't move. Is this post suggesting I need to do the same thing but run red & black L1 / L2 through the CT in opposite directions? like crisscrossing? then power the meter off the black & red L1 / L2 and do not tap White (Neutral) & Bare (Ground)? I am struggling to understand the logic on how opposing flow of electricity will sum the current.

Joel M states "put the ammeter coil around the common hot lead" which is confusing, because I would consider the White (Neutral) lead to be common & completing the circuit for both 120v poles. So do I power the meter off the red & black L1 / L2 then put the coil around the White (Neutral)?

I know the proper solution is to buy two units and add the wattage from both 120v... but that's too much wiring and monthly effort. I would rather buy a unit that works for 2 poles or get this sum solution to work.
