This dress is lovely and ture to size

Nice material, very well made, you could wear a petticoat underneath to make the skirt more full. Nice enough to wear for a casual summer wedding as a guest.

Lovely floral print, fits true to size. Lightweight material but nice feel. The skirt isn't quite as full as the picture shows but it could take a petticoat if you want a fifties look. The hems are loose as there's no reinforcement or lining, a bit like homemade. All in all, its a nice dress which I plan to use for a revival do.

Lovely dress and beautiful fabric however the sizing is way out 😪.

I ordered this dress and it was recommended I order size 18 even though I'm a size 14. I ordered the bigger size and glad that I did. The 18 fit me perfectly. Lovely material and such a beautiful dress on.

Dress fitted so I put it in the wardrobe but when I actuall put it on to wear, I sat down to put my shoes on and when I stood up the whole back of the dress was sunk in to me below my bottom and round my legs with static electricity! Could not even give it to someone else as it is unwearable!! Left it too late to get a return label so it will go in the bin, not even to a charity shop!! Very disappointed Nice dress but useless!

Too thin fabric

I love this dress, it fits well and looks good on, the colours are the same as shown online. It was bought for a 1940’s weekend but I was unable to wear it this year, it will look good for any occasion though. I would definitely buy again in a different colour.

The quality was nice and it was flattering, but I’m chesty so just a tad too snug there. But highly recommend it. Very Feminine.

For fairness, I wore this dress very frequently for a month and a half before writing a review.As a minimalist, it's very important that the products I choose to have are very high quality, comfortable, and versatile to style. This item is perfectly all three.Construction:It's got tons of stretch without looking thin, cheap or ill-fitting. The fabric has weight which makes it drape well.It washes well, and is resistant to many stains. A huge glob of cranberry sauce fell on the front, and wiping it off with a lightly soapy piece of kitchen paper fixed it right up. I did not need to launder it to remove the stain.It fits a variety of bodies well, and accentuates the waist, without being ridiculously tight, or squeezing rolls, as the picture implies.The sewing pattern itself for this dress is pretty, and creative. Big breasted women like me (32 G) can enjoy it, because haleleujah, it does NOT sit on top of the boobs, but catches you right under the bustline, just like it is meant to be.Order your usual fit, it is true to size. Don't order too tight, or go smaller because it stretches, that will interfere with the beauty of the dress. It needs to just fall on you to drape well, and not hug against you, too much.I truly wish that this came in a variety of colours and patterns, with the exact fabric and fit.Edit: Yay! 2 more colour options available. Can we have red, blue, black, and pink, please?Edit #2: I have all 3 colours now. Guess I have a uniform, lol.What else have you got?EDIT #2 IN 2024: Customers would be delighted to know that I still frequently wear my first Apricot dress that I bought in 2020! It's February 2024, so that is over 3 straight years of wearing the same dress. The dress has never had a rip, stain, tear or pull. It took me through an entire pregancy and 60 lbs of weight gain and loss. Yes, the same dress. I just came back here and am amazed and delighted to see more colors, more styles and more options for my "uniform", lol. I just got the floral blue for a wedding, in one size bigger since I'm fluffier and breastfeeding now, and immediately hung it up and put it in my closet. Again, fits just as well as ever.My husband nicknamed the Apricot the "DGD" - otherwise known as the "darn good dress".You all need to offer a white one so people can get married in it and hand it down through a couple generations - it'll hold, trust me!I'll be back again in 2028! Hahaha

I absolutely love this dress. It is not only beautiful and fits in all the right places, it is COMFORTABLE and it has pockets!I am a bit curvy not a big girl, just curvy and it hugs me in all the right places.I didn’t think I’d like the fabric but it is so smooth and silky I just love the feel and it is ridiculously cute!I highly recommend!

Great color. I ordered the green. No pockets. I ordered a size 12plus and was snug in chest area and back.
