Great for scars, blemishes & flaky, dry skin (useful review for eczema/dermatitis sufferers)
bought this set about a week and a half ago, and am really glad that I did. It’s not the end-all to my skin problems, but it’s a great start and is showing some promising results already.I have *extremely* dry skin, with my eczema easily flaring when I forget to moisturize, or when I use a new product that reacts badly with my skin. So, obviously I was hesitant about trying ReTone, just as with any other new cream or cosmetic product.I unfortunately have a lot of scars, some caused by physical accidents (cuts, burns, scrapes); some due to medical issues (eczema, allergies); whilst others are the standard, naturally-occurring blemishes (stretch-marks, pimple scars, skin discoloration).First of all, I am rather in love with the loofah. It’s literally the perfect scrubber: not too hard and rough, not too soft and useless. It’s actually quite relaxing; think of a good massage. I use it all over my body, from head-to-toe, and it has replaced my other body & face scrubbers (though I would still advise to keep your back-scrubber, if you can’t reach all areas of your back very well; and your foot scrubber/file/pumice if you have particularly dry and cracked skin like I do.I actually also used this loofah on my face, though I would advise this with caution. It’s comfortably spongy, a nice cross between scrubber and soft sponge. I use it very gently, sloughing off the dead skin, massaging & promoting blood circulation to my dermis, overall trying to encourage the regeneration of skin. I mean, that’s literally what exfoliation is, and my face is one part of my skin that I particularly want to ensure stays as smooth and supple as possible. For this reason, I also tried both the body cleanser and cream on my face (though, again, I advise this with caution: use a very small amount at first, or perform a patch-test). The cleanser worked really well, didn’t sting, and I made sure that I washed it off properly. The cream did sting a little when I applied it, which was very much expected. If you have highly sensitive skin, you’ll be no stranger to this. However, unlike many other products, the burning sensation doesn’t last long. Perhaps under a minute. Let me explain why I wasn’t freaked out by this. Many creams sting when applied to eczematic/sensitive skin: sometimes this is due to an allergic reaction or intolerance to an ingredient (or more). Other times, it is simply the nature of sensitive skin that it should react a little at first, but nothing really bad is going to happen. If the pain has completed subsided after a few minutes or less, then you’re good to go: essentially, if you “toughen it out” for those few moments, then you’ll likely go on to receive the expected benefits just as with “normal” skin. There are many useful skin-health ingredients that sting/burn a little at first. Usually, it’s the slightly acidic ingredients (though alkaline sometimes too), such as a number of vitamins (e.g. retinol, vitamin C), AHA & BHA, and the increasingly popular hyaluronic acid. It’s a long list, these are only very few examples. Pretty much all products that help with fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and irregular pigmentation contain acidic ingredients. Sooo, I’d just like to let people know not to freak out instantly when a cream stings a little at first; but *do* be concerned if it doesn’t go away at all, or worsens. Then please wash it off. Personally, I’m really looking forward to the results of this after a few months. My wrinkles already appear shallower, and my skin generally smoother. The application of these products to the rest of my body was a lot less eventful, and worked great. I’ve uploaded some “before & after” photos to do the rest of the talking. Some don’t show a huge difference (especially for deep/dark scars), but I wouldn’t expect that after a week anyway. Other improvements are a lot more palpable, showing plumper and more even-looking skin. One piece of advice for dry skin/eczematic people: continue to use your main creams and soaps, and simply add this to your routine as a base/foundation before using/applying your standard products. Maybe also limit their use, to maybe once or twice a week. The ingredients are great and sound very promising, but used alone they likely won’t cure anyone’s eczema. They will dry your skin out a little. Use them as an aid in your daily routine. =) The scrubber is OK to use daily though, in my opinion. The box also came with a little sample bottle of oil, which I reviewed fully as a separate product. Used alongside the above-mentioned products, this has been a really great part of my shower routine for me. The oil absorbs quickly, and leaves no greasy residue.Scent: Cleanser smells amazing and sweet, like the oil; cream doesn’t smell of much, which is just as well, as I prefer skin products & cosmetics unperfumed.p.s. it’s important to remember that “stretch mark” products are NOT just great for stretch marks. Many tend to forget that stretch marks are simply a type of skin-damage scar, so these products tend to work great with most skin blemishes/scarring (which is the main reason I use them).

Waste of money!!!!
Doesn’t work at all. I had extremely high hopes because of all the 5 stars but I just finished using the products and it didn’t even fade my stretch marks a little. I have a lot of stretch marks all over my legs and they didn’t fade not even a little, I also bought the oil, nothing. 50 total bucks wasted, really dissatisfied and disappointed. I used everything as instructed, oil 3 times a day had alarms to remind me when to apply. Didn’t matter.

Overall good, BUT...
I know that anywhere you look everywhere says that these types of products don't work on your stretch marks. I tried this product on a whim and can say that this actually does work. Its not a cure for them, but mine have faded drastically. Probably the most effective product out there, definitely the only one that works. It isn't 5 stars because--You have to buy this in bulk. I've probably bought this three times to see the results I have now. I really dislike how I never run out of body wash, but always run out of the cream. Even when I use the cream sparingly. It's really annoying. Lastly if you have to buy this multiple times to see results, I don't think it should be $40--should be cheaper.

Highly recommend!
I have hyperpigmentation from scarring and stretch marks on my lower back. In the short 1.5 weeks I have used this product - all I can say is wow! Although it takes quite a bit of time for hyperpigmentation and stretch marks to fade, the amount of moisture and firmness my skin has developed is unbelievable. The exfoliating sponge given with this product is well-made, and helps lather up the exfoliating body cleanser. It is an extremely bubbly product! So a little goes a long way :)The stretch mark cream is so thick, but not greasy! I used to put aquaphor on my hands three times a day. I did not like the greasy feeling it left, but it was the only lotion that helped my hands from frequent washing. This stretch mark cream is so thick, that it locks in moisture. I continue to wash my hands frequently, but the dryness has decreased dramatically. I mix in the ReTone oil occasionally, which leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft. I am very pleased with this product. Will definitely be buying again!

no noticeable results
Decent priced but I haven’t noticed any difference and I have a ton of stretch marks.

Reduces dark color, not amount of stretch marks.
It helped reduce the color of my stretch Mark's from a dark purple to a lite pink color. But it did not remove them. I am going to try a second time, hoping it will do the trick.

Hydrating and Easy to use
I bought this product hoping to help fade some scars I got on my back after a fall on an escalator, it was recommended to me by a coworker who recently had a baby and used it for her stretchmarks. I have tan skin so any exposure to sunlight to these scars would cause them to darken. I had been using just plain old aquaphor prior to using this, and wasnt seeing any progress after the wound healed so i decided to take it up a notch. The package was super cute and directions were very easy to follow as a 2 step treatment, it came with the cleansing exfoliator and applicator sponge, then the cream to follow. after using the exfoliator in the shower (all over ) I put the cream onto dry skin and rub it in like regular lotion. I kid you not when I say this is probably the most hydrating cream/lotion I've ever used even in comparison to my vitamin E cream, this one takes the cake for hydration. My skin feels so smooth in the morning and I'm already seeing a little bit of progress especially around the hyperpigmented edges of the scars. Because of how hydrating it is i have also been using it on my prone dry areas (knees and elbows ) which works wonderfully. Can't wait to continue using this, hopefully by summer time the scars will have faded just in time for swim season. Definitely would recommend !
